The kitchen has a great layout and some great bones- granite countertops and marble mosaic backsplash. However, the client was tired of all the brown tones in the space. I wholeheartedly agree!
Paint once again to the rescue. This time we painted the cabinets out Cloud White by Benjamin Moore and once again, we painted the cabinet boxes but, had the doors and drawers fronts professionally sprayed. We also clad the peninsula in headboard to give it some architectural interest and we removed the corbels as they were not functional and only caused many a bruise for those sitting at the peninsula.
The pendants over the peninsula are newly installed and the bar stools were reupholstered. This makeover happened in stages.

We still need to source a new light for over the sink along with new dining chairs for the locally built farmhouse table the client had custom made.
However, this makeover was pretty seamless and took less than a week to have the cabinets doors and drawers taken off site, sprayed and reinstalled. We prepped, primed and painted the cabinet boxes in two days.
